This post is about a scrapbook layout memorializing one of the best things about camping– the grub! I won’t publish a picture of it here, since it’s photographed nicely in the artist’s blog, but you should go check it out.

“Stay Beautiful: Camping 09– Food”
Monday, October 5th, 2009“Serenity” Scrapbook Layout by Valalice
Monday, September 21st, 2009
Serenity is just what many of us are hoping to find during a camping trip, and this layout celebrates that. I love the mix of papers, their distressed edges, and the, yes, serene palate. Way to go, Val!
Val is a very busy and talented Pea at Two Peas in a Bucket. Click on their banner in the left-hand sidebar to visit the site and search for “valalice” in the Members’ Gallery to see more of her beautiful work.
“Hiking Mt. Rainier” Layout by Debikins
Saturday, September 12th, 2009Good morning, Dear Reader! It’s high time we had some scrapbooking eye candy again, agreed? So here you are:

As usual, I found this in the Members’ Gallery at Two Peas in a Bucket, the best scrapbooking site on the web, hands down. I love the stained glass effect on the large picture of the mountain, and the angles of the two smaller pics. Debikins rocks!
“Tout le Monde en Canot” Scrapbook Layout by scrapbookjoe
Friday, August 14th, 2009
This layout by Josée Grandbois, a.k.a. “scrapbookjoe” at Two Peas in a Bucket, is colorful and fun– and they really did get just about everyone in that canoe, didn’t they? I love the way the colors pop against the black background and the black swirly “vine” above the flower embellishment. I also like the buttons on the mesh at the upper right.
What fun to go out in that huge canoe!
2 Amazing Scrapbook Layouts by valalice
Thursday, August 13th, 2009
These two very different layouts are by valalice at Two Peas in a Bucket. Val is obviously a very accomplished, diverse scrapbooker, able to produce art in a variety of “looks.” The Sand Hill, above, is light and airy, which suits its subject perfectly, as does the woodsy feel to layout below, entitled Emily Park.

“The Great Outdoors” Scrapbook Layout by STAMPMOM9
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009
This layout by STAMPMOM9 (Dawn’s user name at Two Peas in a Bucket) is absolutely lush with dimension. This was made in response to a challenge to use two circles, which Dawn accomplished with the small, solid circle at the upper left and the large circle outline around the entire right hand of the layout. The post card includes the saying, “Fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.” I love this layout!
“Socialize with a View” Scrapbook Layout by Debikins
Tuesday, August 11th, 2009
This layout is the scrapper’s take on a travel ad, and with the torn left edge and neat opacity swirl, it looks professional enough to be one! Once again, I found this beauty in the Member Galleries at Two Peas in a Bucket, the web’s premier scrapbooking store. (A click on their banner in the sidebar will take you there, and you won’t regret it!)
Two Gorgeous Scrapbook Layouts by Sands Healy
Monday, August 3rd, 2009
This first layout is called “Rocky Mountain High” and the second, below, is called “Silhouettes By the Fire.” Both use subtle circles in an intriguing way, which is one of the things I really like about them, and both are saturated with color, another big plus for me. I found both in the Member’s Gallery at Two Peas in a Bucket, which you can get to by clicking through the banner on our home page. You can’t beat Two Peas for inspiration or selection!

“Camp ‘07″ Layout by Tmanchas
Monday, July 27th, 2009Teresa (a.k.a. “Tmanchas” at Two Peas in a Bucket) did this layout about camping with two grandsons. I love the doodling all around the perimeter, the distressed edges on all the papers, and the dimension added through the elevated embellishments.

By the way, Two Peas in a Bucket is having a huge warehouse sale right now to make room for all the winter and holiday papers, etc., they’ll be ordering at the industry’s upcoming trade show in Orlando. It’s a great time to jump into scrapbooking for pocket change! Click here:
“Pitching Our Tent” Layout by Shelley Castillo
Monday, July 20th, 2009We have some real eye candy here this morning in this cheery layout– more proof that camping scrapbooking doesn’t HAVE to be all camo and neutral-toned (though there’s nothing wrong with that…). Looking at this layout just makes me happy!
