It includes a pretty comprehensive list of essentials to bring with you, with some things I wouldn’t have thought of (such as a de-skunker). The only things the author didn’t include, which should go without saying but could easily be overlooked if not on the all-important list, are your dog’s regular food and a food & water bowl.

I’m going to camp with at least one of our dogs someday soon. Usually their good-hearted Aunt Jane comes to stay with them when we go camping, but I want to give it a try (I just live in fear of being the campers whose dog keeps everyone up all night).
