Hi, World! Richard and I never thought we’d be bloggers, but here we are… and hopefully we’ll strike a chord with many out there who share our interests in amateur digital photography and family tent camping. We hope to foster a community of like-minded people who can offer each other advice, appreciate each others’ accomplishments, and cheer each other along the way. Do you love the outdoors? Does your family delight in spending time together, or are you eager to find a satisfying way to do that more? Then we hope “Picture Camping…” becomes a place of inspiration and encouragement for you, whether you’re a seasoned camper or a newbie, and we look forward to learning a lot from you in return!

Well, as far as blogging goes, I’m a nervous newbie myself, so this will be all for now– except that I’d like to mention that we’re planning to attend the annual Punkin Chunkin near Bridgeville in southern DE this November, and we’d love recommendations on great campgrounds in that area, if anyone has any!
